Kazuhiro MATSUSHITA

Born in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture.
He entered the Conducting Department of Tokyo College of Music in 2014.
He graduated at the top of his class in 2018.
He studied conducting under Junichi Hirokami, Toshifumi Tashiro, and Yasufumi Tokito, and piano under Jun Ueki and Kiyotaka Noda.
In 2018, he completed an international conducting masterclass held in the Czech Republic, studying with Alexander Polyanichko.
In 2023, he participated in the International Conductors’ Competition "Wiener Schule."
That same year, he was recommended for the "Tokyo Opera Days Conducting Masterclass" hosted by Tokyo Nikikai Opera Foundation, where he studied with Leonardo Sini.
Currently based in Tokyo, he conducts and coaches orchestras throughout Japan.
Since 2024, he has also served as conductor and instructor of the Tsukuba Junior Orchestra.
He is also actively engaged in the field of opera, having served as assistant conductor for productions such as Un ballo in maschera, Macbeth, The Magic Flute, Cendrillon, and Iolanta.
In 2024, he appeared as guest conductor for highlight performances of Carmen and The Marriage of Figaro, expanding his activities in both opera and choral music.
